The National Service Authority (NSA) has set Friday, August 14, as the deadline for defaulters and private candidates to apply for PIN codes for the 2026/2027 national service year. The exercise is open to Ghanaian citizens who completed tertiary education but could not enrol in the National Service Programme in previous years. Applicants must complete the online registration process and submit all required documents to the NSA office by the deadline. The exercise gives eligible graduates who missed previous enrolment periods an opportunity to regularise their participation in the mandatory national service programme. The Authority reminded the public that under the National Service Authority Act, 2024 (Act 1119), every Ghanaian citizen who completes an accredited tertiary institution is required to undertake national service.
