De Paula died this weekend in the Dominican Republic after undergoing a cosmetic surgery procedure at a clinic in Santo Domingo. "I knew she was going to the Dominican Republic, but I didn't know she was going to have that procedure," Santana told News 4. News 4 spoke by phone with one of De Paula's brothers, who said that the officer's body is in the Dominican Republic.
