On Wednesday, the Hermantown Police Department made two arrests for gun-related crimes, with one case also involving illegal substances. At approximately 1:01PM, officers responded to a business on the report of a suspected shoplifter. The man was then arrested on charges of felony theft, felony drug possession and carrying a pistol without a license. At approximately 8:20PM, officers responded to Swan Lake Road after a woman allegedly pointed a handgun at an adult male and a juvenile while they were working. The Hermantown Police Department was assisted by the Proctor Police Department and St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office in these arrests.
