Spirit Valley Days returns to West Duluth through Sunday, August 9, bringing a week packed with family-friendly fun, community traditions and local pride, according to event organizers. Residents and visitors can enjoy live entertainment, classic cars, food, a parade, fireworks, KidFest and much more. This evening, families can cheer on contestants at the Miss West Duluth Pageant at Mr. D’s at 4:00 p.m., grab burgers and hot dogs at the American Legion and enjoy the Spirit Valley Days Parade along Grand Avenue. The parade will begin a 59th Avenue West and proceed along Grand Avenue. Organizers said, “Spirit Valley Days is all about celebrating the people, businesses, and organizations that make Spirit Valley such a special place to live, work, and visit.”
