New Delhi: The Delhi High Court on Wednesday refused to quash the summons issued to a doctor accused of terminating the pregnancy of a minor rape victim without her consent. The Court also upheld the trial court's order directing further investigation into the allegations against the doctor. The trial court had issued summons to the doctor after taking cognisance of the supplementary charge sheet. The Trial Court took cognisance, additionally invoked Section 21 POCSO Act, and summoned the petitioner.
