A decision to refuse permission for a new wellness facility in Letterkenny has been appealed. Kaizen Wellness Ltd have lodged an appeal to An Coimisiún Pleanála after their plans for the new facility at Pearse Road, Letterkenny, were turned down by Donegal County Council. The company has sought permission for a change of use from an overspill car park and former stone mason’s yard and workshop to a new wellness, recreation and sauna facility. Advertisement AdvertisementThe proposed facility would include single-storey saunas, changing rooms, toilet facilities, reception area and ancillary refreshment facilities as well as external hot tubs, showers and cold plunge areas. The company is also aiming to erect a new timber-clad perimeter screen, car parking bays and new pedestrian access.
