Generations of Cloughaneely musicians are preparing to take centre stage in Belfast this weekend as the junior and senior bands of Banna Ceoil Chloich Cheann Fhaola bid to defend their All-Ireland titles at the Fleadh. For Banna Ceoil Chloich Cheann Fhaola, 2026 is a year to celebrate those memories while creating new ones. What was intended as a one-off celebration reignited a passion for music, leading to the reformation of Buion Cheoil Sinsear Chloich Cheann Fhaola. As the band marks 10 years since the Senior Band was reformed, both the Senior Band and Cloughaneely Junior Marching Band are preparing to travel to Belfast to defend their All-Ireland titles.
