Sale agreed on one of Donegal’s oldest stately homes

One of the oldest stately homes in Donegal has just gone ‘sale agreed.’
Killygordon House, on the outskirts of Killygordon village, went on the market two years ago with an asking price of almost €200,000.
The selling agent, Henry Kee and Son, placed a ‘sale agreed’ sign at the entrance to the property this week.
Sadly, Killygordon House has become somewhat run-down in recent years.
However, according to the National Inventory of Architectural Heritage (NIAH), the house retains much of its early character and form despite alterations in recent decades.
