Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed on Thursday carried out a minor cabinet reshuffle, appointing four new commissioners barely nine months before the end of his administration. ‎‎The newly appointed commissioners are Madaki Ahmad Gololo, Bashir Yau, Bashir Adamu Rishi and Baraya Ibrahim. ‎‎“Your actions and conduct will be closely monitored by the government and the people of Bauchi State. ‎‎“We will work collectively to promote transparency, accountability, and the effective implementation of government programmes for the benefit of the people of Bauchi State,” he said. ‎‎Mohammed concluded the ceremony with prayers for divine guidance and protection for the new commissioners, Bauchi State and the country, reaffirming his administration’s commitment to improving the welfare of citizens before the expiration of its tenure.
