EIH Limited has entered the wellness hospitality space through a strategic partnership with Bhartiya Group to develop 20 wellness-focused ultra-luxury resorts across India and select international destinations.
The collaboration marks a significant diversification for The Oberoi Group as it seeks to tap into the rapidly growing global wellness tourism market through a management-led expansion strategy.
Over the longer term, the partners aim to build a portfolio of 20 resorts centred on wellness, experiential travel and longer-stay leisure demand.
Vikram Oberoi, CEO of The Oberoi Group, added that the partnership would extend the company’s personalised service philosophy into the wellness segment, noting that resorts located in destinations encouraging longer stays will allow every guest interaction to be thoughtfully crafted to create lasting memories.
The move comes amid growing global demand for wellness-focused travel, positioning The Oberoi Group to capture a larger share of this expanding segment through its new partnership with Bhartiya Group.
