News Investigators/ The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) says unclaimed dividends and dormant assets represent real money that belongs to families, sitting idle, disconnected from the people it is meant to serve. Emomotimi Agama, the Director-General of SEC said this at the Probate and Unclaimed Monies Awareness and Investor Clinic in Abuja on Thursday. ”Through the investor clinic, we will provide participants with direct access to experts who can guide them through their unique circumstances and answer questions specific to their cases. He said it was largely due to unclaimed assets, including assets to be inherited. The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the programme was tagged “Probate and Unclaimed Monies Awareness and Investor Clinic”.
