As it turns out, my options haven’t changed very much since I last tried to do more digital reading during lockdown in 2020. Here is where I make a confession: I use the Kindle app. I would not buy a Kindle, but the app is free and it is the most functional digital reading app out there. I also appreciate having the Kindle app on my phone if I find myself without a book and in need of entertainment. For my purposes the Kindle app works great.
