Several members of the public reported Victor Pana to the police for his “erratic” and “dangerous” driving on January 24. A member of the public recorded the defendant’s driving on the A482 out of Lampeter after witnessing him swerving onto the wrong side of the road. As Pana returned to Lampeter, he attempted to overtake parked cars despite there being oncoming traffic and it not being his right of way. The woman was trapped between the two cars and then thrown to the floor as Pana continued driving. Recorder David Harris sentenced Pana to 14 months’ imprisonment and disqualified him from driving for four years and five months.
