River and Ripple, a bonded pair, are being cared for at All Creatures Great and Small Animal Sanctuary after being surrendered by their previous owners, who could no longer keep them after moving to a smaller home. River is the quieter of the two, preferring affection on her own terms and tending to be more reserved. River and Ripple could potentially live with children, as they have previously lived in a home with children aged four and six. However, supervision is advised, particularly because River can sometimes be "a bit nippy & grumpy at times."
