Without Bey on the field, Day was pleased with what he saw out of Jackson and West early in the first practice. Utilizing both Bo Jackson and West will be key for Ohio State to make sure that each is healthy at the end of the season. Ohio State has a deep running back room, so Bey may have cost himself a chance to make an early impression on the coaching staff.
