Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, has appealed to residents of the state to remain steadfast ahead of the August 15 governorship election, urging them to reject any attempt to return the state to what he described as an era of hardship and unpaid wages. “We will not allow APC to take Osun back to the days when civil servants had to beg their neighbours for food,” the governor declared. “I call on the good people of Osun State to brace up for just a few more days,” he said. The governor also called on eligible voters to participate in the election and support the continuation of his administration’s programmes. “Together, we will protect the mandate of the people and keep Osun moving forward accordingly,” Adeleke stated.
