Plans remain under consideration in the meantime for a refurbishment of the front of the pub, with new designs for the building submitted to Wiltshire Council on July 2. New occupants from SLK Bars were quickly found and the business also took on the Wiltshire Yeoman in Trowbridge in early 2025. They have told this paper of their plans for the pub, which involve a diverse set of activities and events for customers. These include bottomless brunch, which has become a staple at the Wiltshire Yeoman, and a skilled cocktail specialist working from scratch at the garden bar in the future. New general manger Eve Knowles added that she is “really excited” to turn the pub into a thriving business again.
