Brian Sears is back on the bike, but not making any promises about how long forBrian Sears climbed back into a race bike at Pocono Downs on July 21, and it wasn’t a farewell lap in reverse.
Sears was back at Pocono to qualify a filly he co-owns, Papi’s Bride, out of the mare Native Bride.
And the family’s driving line runs back further still, through Brian’s grandfather, Gene, who also passed 1,000 career wins in the bike.
Speaking to DRF Harness in the days after the drive, Sears was careful not to turn one night into an announcement.
His father, Jay, and grandfather, Gene, both passed 1,000 career wins driving, and Brian’s own tally sits well beyond 10,000.
