London, UK – Asda is rolling out the Auror crime reporting and intelligence platform across its entire UK store network following a highly successful 10-week pilot involving 30 London stores. Auror is a cloud-based crime intelligence platform that enables retailers to record, manage and share information on criminal incidents. The information was then combined with reports from other retailers within the Auror network to strengthen investigations and improve crime prevention. Data collected across Auror’s UK retail network suggests that a relatively small group of offenders is responsible for the majority of retail crime. Mark Gleeson, General Manager for UK and Europe at Auror, welcomed Asda to the growing network of retailers using the platform.
