Police in Tema onWednesday August 5, 2026, intercepted 866 (Eight Hundred and Sixty-Six) parcels of substances suspected to be cocaine being prepared for export. The substances were loaded among sacks of gari and konkonte. They are Gilano Horwin, 31, the Dutch, John Mensah Sabah, 41, and Alhaji Iddris Haruna, 52. According to the source, at about 2000hours on Wednesday, police had intelligence about a consignment of goods being loaded at a warehouse in the port enclave.
