NET Web DeskTwo young women from Nepal were found hanging from the same tree in an open area near Jakkur in north Bengaluru on Thursday morning, prompting police to launch an investigation into the circumstances surrounding their deaths. The deceased have been identified as Srijana (22) and Rita (23), both natives of Nepal. According to police, their bodies were found hanging from opposite ends of the same saree tied to a tree after local residents alerted the authorities. Police conducted a spot inspection before shifting the bodies to Yelahanka Government Hospital for post-mortem examination. Authorities are also verifying when the two women arrived in Bengaluru, their employment details, recent movements, contacts, and the events leading up to their deaths.
