The annual Fossils Charity Fundraising event began at Horndean Technology College and was organised by the Waterlooville Motorcycle Club to raise money for the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance and SERVWESSEX Blood Runners. A spokesman for the Waterlooville Motorcycle Club said: "The Fossils event is more than just a ride. The club chairman closed the event by thanking the volunteers, sponsors, attendees, and charity representatives for making the day a success. The event raised £5,000 in 2025, and organisers hope to match or exceed this amount in 2026.
