For the Formal Spring/Summer 2027 directory, the creative director introduces a versatile tailoring architecture across three distinct wardrobes: Timeless Business, Modern Tailoring and Evening. The collection structures its tailoring around three foundational house patterns, grouping the roomier Gaston frame alongside the slimmer Napolitana and the classic Pont Neuf jacket. Williams’ fascination with workwear ripples throughout the collection in unexpected ways, showing up as tracksuit jackets elevated with smooth calf leather, felted wool and reversible wool-cashmere. Tuxedos borrow practical construction details from utility clothing, double-knee panelling appears in grain-de-poudre wool, Monogram Flower rivets punctuate trousers and superfine wool knitwear replaces traditional evening layers. The Louis Vuitton Formal Spring/Summer 2027 collection arrives in boutiques on 3 September.
