More shark activity is being spotted at Pine Point Beach in Scarborough, a day after there were two shark sightings in the same area. The Scarborough Public Safety Team says drone footage from late Wednesday afternoon showed a few white sharks in the waters between the Pine Point Jetty and the extensive sandbar that runs parallel to the Scarborough River channel. They say the observations are consistent with the increased shark activity reported over the past several days. Police say the sightings are being shared for the purpose of public awareness. The Scarborough Public Safety Team says it’ll continue to monitor the area in coordination with local, state, and federal partners.
