Crowds are expected to descend on Darlington's town centre as Darlington's Pride Weekend kicks off on Saturday (August 8). On Saturday there will be a day of free entertainment and live music in the Market Square followed by the annual Pride march. On Sunday (August 9) the fun moves to Hopetown Darlington with the annual Pride Picnic where there will be free crafts, face painting, live music, bubbles and stilt walkers.
