The crash happened on the A181 flyover near Wingate, County Durham, just after 12pm today (Thursday, August 6). A spokesman for Durham Constabulary said: "Police were called just after 12pm today to a two-vehicle collision on the A181 flyover at Wingate. "One of the drivers was treated at the scene for shock. Another wrote: "Time it was a 20 zone, it's getting worse." The Northern Echo has approached the North East Ambulance Service for comment.
