It was not the first time Anthony Drayner’s online messaging has landed him before a court, and it resulted in him receiving a further prison sentence. The court heard that instead of being greeted by an underage teenage boy, he was met by police officers, who arrested him. The judge in that case told Drayner he, “presented a serious risk of harm to children.” The, now 51-year-old defendant, of The Oval, West Cornforth, admitted attempting to incite a child to engage in sexual activity and breaching the SHPO at a hearing at Durham Crown Court, in June. Recorder Giuliani told Drayner upon release he should concentrate on looking after his ageing mother instead of trying to chat to boys online.
