A new PlayStation 5 firmware beta has arrived for anyone who's part of Sony's beta programme. The new firmware brings a couple of notable features, especially for players who own the more powerful - and more expensive - PS5 Pro. PS5 Pro launched alongside a new form of AI upscaling developed by Sony called PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution (PSSR). Now, the new firmware beta makes that the default option - though you can still turn it off. This is only available "in certain countries or regions" for PS5 and PS5 Pro.
