On August 5th, her social media shared the update, announcing, “Following a recent injury, Joan Jett has undergone orthopedic surgery on a fractured vertebra and will begin the necessary healing process.” Despite the forthcoming shakeup to her touring schedule, Jett’s July tour of the UK went off without a hitch. Jett is an acclaimed Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee with eight platinum and gold albums to her name.
