The Planning Board has approved plans to transform the long-vacant Buskett Forest Aparthotel in Dingli into a new elderly care home capable of accommodating up to 100 residents. The project will see the existing aparthotel at Ta’ Sabbat demolished and replaced with a 54-room Class 2A elderly care facility, including dedicated accommodation for people living with dementia. The development will also feature a pharmacy, cafeteria, kitchen, multipurpose hall, swimming pool, landscaped gardens, a roof garden, staff facilities and 40 parking spaces.
