Julianne Vella has been appointed as Malta’s newest United Nations Youth Delegate, taking on the role of representing young Maltese people at international UN forums over the next two years. The certificate of appointment was presented by Minister for Foreign and European Affairs Chris Fearne. Vella will work alongside Samuel Camilleri Brincat, who has served as Malta’s UN Youth Delegate over the past year, with the pair representing the perspectives of Maltese youth on global issues. Malta’s United Nations Youth Delegate programme has been running since 2021 and continues to attract growing interest.
