Bay Area sports radio station KNBR has laid off legendary sportscaster Greg Papa. Papa hosted the "Papa & Silver" show with Greg Silver, who was also let go. NBC Bay Area reached out to KNBR and Cumulus, the station's owner, but did not immediately hear back. Papa still has his job as the San Francisco 49ers radio announcer, though he's not excepted to call games this upcoming season.
