This Aged Care Employee Day, BaptistCare and Mercy Health are highlighting hospitality staff while Carinity is honouring several workers across different aged care homes.
In honour of the eighth Aged Care Employee Day on 7 August, aged care providers BaptistCare and Carinity are taking the chance to thank their hospitality workers.
For cook Bikash Gautam, preparing nutritious meals is a meaningful way to support the aged care residents at BaptistCare Griffith in Canberra’s inner-south.
Mr Gautam is originally from Nepal and has been working in aged care hospitality for three years.
Awards – a celebration of the skill, compassion and dedication of Australia’s aged care workforce.
