Allow me to introduce you to Future Knight, quite possibly the best looking PS5 and PS4 game I’ve ever seen. Inspired by old LCD handhelds manufactured by Tiger Electronics (or even Nintendo’s own Game & Watch), this side-scrolling shooter has one of the most unique aesthetics I think I’ve ever seen. Only you, a robot built over 30 years from the remains of a 90s soap opera actor, can stop her. As alluded to in the synopsis, gameplay is split between Future Knight, who’s more powerful in combat – and Two More, who’s capable of wall jumping and squeezing through tight spaces. I’ve never seen anything quite like this and I’m immediately enamoured with it.
