Revolut is Discussing a $500 Billion Founder Award Before it Reaches a $200 Billion IPOEnglish 日本語한국어繁體中文ไทยPortuguêsItalianoDeutschFrançaisEspañolRevolut co-founder and CEO Nikolay Storonsky is in early talks over a new share award that would trigger at a $500 billion company valuation, according to people familiar with the matter cited by the Financial Times.
The proposed new award would layer an additional tranche on top, triggered at $500 billion, a figure 4.3 times Revolut’s most recent valuation.
The figure represented a 53% jump from the $75 billion mark set in November 2025 and more than double the $45 billion valuation recorded in 2024.
At a $500 billion valuation, Storonsky’s enlarged stake would be worth $200 billion on paper, eclipsing the wealth of any European technology founder.
The next milestone is whether the board formally approves or shelves the $500 billion plan before public market disclosure obligations begin.
