A giant sea creature has washed ashore at Cefn Sidan Beach in Pembrey, drawing attention from early-morning walkers and beachgoers. Shock Discovery on a Morning StrollOn September 3, an early-morning walker stumbled upon a massive, decaying carcass on the tide line of Cefn Sidan Beach, a location known as one of Wales’s longest beaches. The Cefn Sidan coastline, along with other beaches in South and West Wales, has seen at least four similar strandings in the past five years. Speaking to Wales Online, a spokesperson from a local marine wildlife group said:“Each stranding is a tragic loss, but also a scientific opportunity. Cefn Sidan stretches across eight miles of sandy shoreline, making it one of the UK’s longest uninterrupted beaches.
