Comments for Indian Defence Review
Established in 2024 by U.S. Navy veterans, the company has set its sights on developing autonomous vessels capable of operating more than 1,000 miles without human oversight.
Blue Water Autonomy is joining forces with Conrad Shipyard, a respected shipbuilding company based in Louisiana, to bring these autonomous vessels to life.
This collaboration will allow Blue Water to scale its production of autonomous vessels more efficiently, meeting the U.S. Navy’s increasing demand for autonomous surface vessels (ASVs) that can carry out various missions.
Blue Water’s vessels, projected to displace up to 100 tons, will be integral to fulfilling these multi-role missions.
These industry veterans will help ensure that Blue Water’s autonomous vessels are produced efficiently and meet the operational demands of the U.S. Navy.
