The Ministry of Interior (MOI), through the General Directorate of Traffic, has announced a 30-day deadline for owners to reclaim vehicles that have been impounded for more than three months. According to the Ministry, the 30-day period will begin on 9 August 2026. The General Directorate of Traffic noted that vehicles not claimed within the specified period will be offered for sale in accordance with the applicable procedures. The notice applies to vehicles that have remained in impound for three months or longer. The announcement forms part of the General Directorate of Traffic’s efforts to manage vehicle impoundment procedures and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
