Next week, RM Sotheby’s will auction off a gorgeous 1985 Ferrari 288 GTO as part of its annual Monterey sale.
The Ferrari F40 may be the most revered of Ferrari’s halo cars, but it’s the 288 GTO, or just plain old GTO, that was first.
The 1985 Ferrari 288 GTO Mikey Noga/RM Sotheby’sThe GTO up for auction is the 99th of 272 examples built between 1984 and 1987.
