Axa to buy remainder of cybersecurity consultancyAxa XL, a division of Axa SA, Thursday said it would acquire the remaining shares it does not already own in corporate intelligence and cybersecurity consultancy S-RM. Axa XL currently holds about 49% of S-RM, the insurer said in a statement. Specialized expertise includes cyber risk assessment, managed detection and incident response, specialist investigations, geopolitical intelligence, and integrity and reputational due diligence, the statement said. The company will become part of Axa XL Risk Advisory and continue to service customers globally, according to the statement. The two companies have been working together for more than 15 years, Heyrick Bond Gunning, CEO of S-RM, said in the statement.
