St. Al will host a 14-team fast-pitch softball jamboree Saturday at Halls Ferry Park. St. Al normally plays its home games down the hill from Halls Ferry Park at the Betty Hearn Foley Softball Complex. Moving up the hill to Halls Ferry, Foley said, allowed the jamboree to run more smoothly and double in size. “The reason we were able to do 14 teams is because of Halls Ferry Park,” Foley said. ———ST.
