Tax exemptions for several Warren County-based industries were approved by the Warren County Board of Supervisors Monday at the board’s voting session. For each item, the board accepted for information an Exemption Certification Notice from the Department of Revenue approving eligibility for ad valorem tax exemptions. The board then approved a final resolution granting the ad valorem tax exemptions. For example, Ergon Refining Inc. submitted $62,371,846 in tax-exempt improvements to its business that were approved by both the state and the Warren County Board of Supervisors.
