When Blake Robert arrived at Key City Park for his latest tour stop, he wasn’t just another musician passing through Vicksburg. When he performed at Key City Park Thursday, Vicksburg was his 47th state, leaving only Alaska, Hawaii and Louisiana remaining. The tour has given Robert a glimpse of an audience for his music, but the journey has been more demanding than he expected, both physically and mentally. Robert wrote his first song when he was 16 and began experimenting with producing his own music soon after. Now, Robert works with an engineer who helps bring his vision to life.
