Ross, TJ Maxx, Macy’s, Old Navy — a TikToker Walked Past All of Them in Downtown Seattle. None Were Open.

An X post from @Milajoy shared a video from TikTok creator @brookerteejones, who walks through downtown Seattle pointing to storefronts she says once housed major retailers, including Old Navy, Anthropologie, The Loft, Abercrombie, and Macy's, all now vacant. Featured Video@Milajoy wrote in the caption, "Most downtown Seattle businesses are GONE because of leftist rule," listing Starbucks, Old Navy, and The Loft among the closures. Then they borrow more money to cover the vandalism and property destruction, violent crime, and open drug use, then go bankrupt." When you blame business for the plight of the unproductive, the business leaves and the government has to suffer lower tax income. Destroy property, lower its value to less than the land, wait a bit.
