Sonderwunsch cars don't get a production run, a waiting list, or a configurator. Each car is built once, for one client, then it's gone. That's the category the 911 Turbo S Land Down Under sits in tonight, and it's arguably the rarest and most detailed thing to ever wear a Porsche badge in this country. Commissioned by Porsche Cars Australia to mark 75 years of the brand locally, the car was built through Sonderwunsch, Porsche's in-house special-request division, working alongside the Style Porsche design team and Sydney-based contemporary artist Werner Bronkhorst. Depending on the light and the angle you're standing at, it shifts through desert orange, dusk-sky blue, eucalyptus green and sunrise gold.
