Seven people were taken to hospital following a four-vehicle crash west of Fort William. Emergency services were called to the A830 Fort William to Mallaig road at about 2.15pm on Wednesday August 5. Police, paramedics and firefighters all attended the scene, with two fire appliances sent from Fort William. “We dispatched several ambulance response vehicles to the scene and transported seven patients to Belford Hospital.” A police spokesperson said: “The A830 has reopened following a crash at Corpach, west of Fort William, reported to police around 2.15pm on Wednesday August 5.
