GOC lauds troops’ professionalism during operation ATILEYIN ALAFIA II in Benin Republic

Spread the wordTroops of the Nigerian Army who recently returned from operational deployment in the Republic of Benin have been commended for their outstanding discipline, professionalism and commitment throughout Operation ATILEYIN ALAFIA II.
The commendation came from the General Officer Commanding (GOC), 81 Division Nigerian Army, Major General Adebayo Babalola, while addressing a cross-section of the personnel at the 243 Reconnaissance Battalion Parade Ground, Ibereko Barracks, Badagry, Lagos.
Major General Babalola recalled that before their deployment, the troops were charged to serve as worthy ambassadors of Nigeria and the Nigerian Army.
He expressed satisfaction that they had successfully executed their mission while upholding the army’s core values of professionalism, discipline, courage and loyalty.
Major General Babalola urged the soldiers to sustain the high standards they had displayed during the deployment, stressing that professionalism and discipline remain the hallmarks of the Nigerian Army.
