A Brooklyn man faces murder charges for allegedly stabbing a Queens man to death during an apparent romantic rendezvous gone wrong, police sources said. According to police sources, 36-year-old Bretford Brewer of Brooklyn was charged on Wednesday with murder and criminal possession of a weapon in the brutal slaying of 36-year-old Carlos Penzo on Aug. 1. According to court documents, the victim dialed 911 and told the operator the address before he appeared to succumb to his wounds. However, something triggered a verbal dispute between the two men that ended with Brewer allegedly attacking Penzo with a knife, causing his death. The suspect went to the high-rise rooftop fully nude in an attempt to destroy security cameras with a fire extinguisher.
