The University of South Africa (Unisa) has put out a call for papers for a notable event it is hosting next year. This is The African Council for Distance Education (ACDE) Conference 2027, which is coming to Cape Town. Taking place between 12th and 16th April 2027 at the Cape Town International Convention Centre, this event is focused on distance and digital education and how to improve it. The ACDE Conference, then, is looking to qualified attendees to lend their voices, ideas and research to the betterment of this corner of education. The higher education landscape itself is undergoing significant change, driven by Africanisation, digital transformation, and geopolitics,” the official website for the ACDE Conference reads.
