The iconic comedy world of “Martin” is returning to the small screen this fall as the highly anticipated spinoff series, “The Varnell Hill Show,” officially secured its streaming release date.
The new comedy series will premiere on Paramount+ beginning Sept. 1, bringing back one of the original show’s most memorable characters nearly 30 years after his first appearance.
Comedian Tommy Davidson will reprise his role as the titular Varnell Hill, a flamboyant and ultra-confident entertainer who first rose to fame as Martin Payne’s late-night talk show rival.
